2017 Silent Procession

NYC4PR marched in solidarity with Puerto Rico

More than a hundred New Yorkers marched from the heart of the Barrio in East Harlem to Trump Tower in Midtown to demand more support from the federal government for the reconstruction of Puerto Rico.

This is a demonstration of the people, this is a march of the people. This march is not affiliated with any politician, non-profit or private organization. This is something that we have organized as a community, as a community that is worried, wounded, that wants salvation for their homeland," another protester assured.
